A brief synopsis:

 

Prince Hilarion has been waiting for this day for twenty years. 
He is about to meet the girl he was betrothed to as a baby.  However, this girl, Princess Ida, has forsworn men and founded a women’s university at Castle Adamant. In an attempt to woo her, Hilarion and his friends dress up as maidens and sneak into the castle …
